There are times when I feel like I have the potential to change the world, times when I feel powerful and confident about myself and my abilities. Then there are times when I feel like the weakest, loneliest, most useless man on Earth: times when I wish that I could be anyone other than myself.The intersection of this dichotomy is where Volume 2 was born; at the crossroads of my greatest accomplishments and most devastating failures. The bravado that I showed the world while harboring an intense feeling of self-loathing and depression. I challenged myself to explore them both musically in hopes of coping with some of the darker aspects of my psyche and this volume is the result. Reflective and honest, triumphant and melancholy. A body of work that not only sounds great but was also therapeutic for me to create. I know that I am not the only one who walks this thin line and it is my prayer that this volume can help console you as well. Play it when you feel like you're the one, and even when you feel like no one cares about you. I do. Thank you for listening and I promise that I'm going to be more consistent from now on.
